I had no idea there was other people like me! I mean, I’m not secretly full of hate, but it’s close enough.
So it’s only now occurred to me that there is a MAD covers website, basically the one thing we were hoping to get out of the internet in 1996, and now it’s here. Thanks Doug Gilford!
The first MAD I ever got can be seen here. The back cover was pretty instructive at that age. The whole thing makes one really miss Heavy Metal, Omni, print media in general, when a guy could almost make a living painting pictures for magazines. My adolescence was basically about watching this stuff die and get replaced by shitty memes made with old pictures.

So just now found out that Micah Warren finally found his home –as we all knew he ought –in Pork Magazine’s Rock & Rule Records, a place for finding art often as goofy and derivative as Glitter Wizard’s whole act, which Micah has lovingly been doing for like 10 friggin years. Good job Micah!
So if you’re gonna finally buy that Sean Aaberg coloring book, get a Glitter Wizard record too because you know Micah’s Ditch Grease Hair Gel isn’t cheap.
