San Jose artists: Raúl Perález wants to hear about housing
Sounds like rumbles are afoot for building ghettos for artists and their gentrifier friends in San Jose. That way they can light one fire and wipe us all out, and either way the landlords and developers win.

Saw a shadow in the computer monitor, thought it was my sister-in-law, turned around, saw it was a guy walking down the sidewalk out my window, he was carrying a cardboard pack of Tecate, made up a word, Teclatl, typed it into Youtube, found this.
Surrender yourself to chance!
Tecpatl is a black metal/prehispanic ambient band (best genre I think I ever heard of in my life). Their intentions sort of remind me of the approach taken by Wardruna and Ulver, trying to get to something much older than the tools they’re using.
Prison Entertainment Against Nonwhites
If you’re still pretending to be astounded as to how half of the men in this country will likely vote for Trump for president, here’s a tiny bit of help: you’ve been consuming television that demonizes people of color and the poor. On top of that you don’t bat an eye at corporations exploiting those incarcerated, and therefore almost without rights, to make entertainment. From right out of Salinas, a classic case of prisoner profiteering on Lockdown, provided in this case by Australia’s 7Mate via the National Geographic Channel.
